Guatemala is probably not your first thought when considering a spoiling vacation in Central America, mainly because it’s next to Mexico. But if you did decide to take a relaxing trip to Guatemala then you did good research.
You can visit Guatemala every month during the year. Still, our recommendation is to visit the country from November to April in order to enjoy the dry season in order to enjoy the good sun while sitting next to the pool or the beach.
Guatemala has a lot to offer, starting with great food, good weather, very affordable prices, really friendly locals, and great sites of the ancient Mayan ruins like Tikal and the colonial city of Antigua.
Actually, there is only two all inclusive resorts in Guatemala, but I’ll introduce you to all the best hotels in Guatemala so you’ll have more possibilities to choose from. So let’s start our list.
The 9 Best All Inclusive Resorts In Guatemala

Oceana Resort & Conventions
Sitting next to the beautiful ocean, just a few steps next to the sandy beach, so even if your partner prefers the beach and you prefer the pool, you won’t be so far away from each other. The location of the hotel is pretty isolated, but if you’re not lazy you can find some restaurants 2 kilometers from the hotel(you won’t need them because the food in the hotel is great). The hotel’s decor is up to date and everything looks very clean. The hotel facilities include a nice bar, 2 great-looking pools, a fitness center, and a soothing jacuzzi.

The best alternatives for the best all inclusive resorts in Guatemala.
As I mentioned earlier, there are just 2 all inclusive resorts in Guatemala, but since we want you to have other options, take a look at the other fabulous hotels in Guatemala that will provide you with the same level of accommodation as a resort.
Laguna Lodge
Probably our most uniquely located hotel, the property is sitting directly on the edge of the beautiful Lake Atitlan and has one of the best-looking environments that a hotel can have. This hotel is the perfect combination of “green” and luxurious accommodation as it succeeds to be eco-friendly and still manages to give you a luxury experience. The hotel decor is quite outdated since it was built in 1999, and yet it manages to give a lovely romantic vibe. As I mentioned, the hotel has one of the most unique locations in Guatemala, with outstanding views of the lake and the volcanic mountains all around. The property facilities include a pool, a bar, and a well-reviewed restaurant.

If you are interested in traveling and not just drinking and eating next to the outstanding views, Tikal is only 40 minute drive from the hotel. The hotel decor is really up-to-date and has a clean and fresh vibe to it.
